Hi all,

I've suffered from the problem that Harold mentioned and didn't know it was as well understood as it appears to be; I've made things that suffer from ghosting and would like to stop doing so. Can anyone answer the following?

1. Is there a known number of prims that is known to be safe from ghosting? Or, conversely a number that makes it happen? E.g., I have one attachment with 90 prims and it often ghosts.

2. If something is partially a mesh item does that change the likelihood of ghosting?

3. Is ghosting caused by number of items in the link set or by PE? E.g., I've made some things that have a high PE (thanks scripted mesh) but few objects when using inspect.

I wonder if this is any relation to the bug where high-prim count
attachments will ghost on teleport.  (ie the object appears to be attached
to the wearer, no scripts run and others can not see it)
